I’m a tad parched….

Last year it was all about the rain.

2010’s summer season has brought us scorching 100 degree days…

what’s it gonna be next year?!?

Jacqueline & Dominic - Christos Poughkeepsie

Jacqueline and Dominic chose Christos to host their wedding celebration.

When we arrived, both the ceremony area and reception room were perfectly set,
and Chris was waiting by the door, poised to greet our bride and groom.
Jax arrived and quickly dipped into the bridal suite, bridesmaids in tow, to slip into her gown.

We had just enough time for a few photos before the ceremony began.
Judge Chase was a great choice to officiate.
We always love working with him and can tell he feels a real connection to each couple he joins.
We look forward to photographing his son’s wedding in the near future!

After the ceremony we toured the grounds, capturing our newlyweds along the way.
Christos offers so many different environments to photograph, all within a short walk.
We love that our clients come away with a variety of looks, all from one location…
and they love it too!

We got Jax and Dom back inside for some special dances with some special people…
including one who’s only 2- dimensional!
The cardboard cut- out of a very special friend who couldn’t be with us that day
was a great laugh.
I think I even saw her in the men’s room!!

Congratulations, Jax & Dom! We loved working with you!

Christine & Tony's Wedding - St. Johns Pawling & Christos Poughkeepsie

We’ve had the good fortune to photograph many amazing weddings this month,

and Christine & Tonys was no exception!

It was beautiful, bright and sunny when we arrived at St. Johns church in Pawling, NY.
We had a few minutes to grab some shots of Tony and his best guys before
Christine arrived in her stretch white limo, courtesy of T&P Limousine.

After a touching wedding ceremony, we had just enough time to grab some pretty cool shots
of our bride, groom and bridal party crossing the street. These guys were so fun and spunky,
photographing them was a breeze!

We arrived at Christos with plenty of time to stroll the grounds with Christine & Tony.

We captured a few more beautifully romantic shots
before getting our newlyweds inside just in time to enjoy their entire cocktail hour
(now that’s good planning)!

You could feel the emotion in the room as Christine & Tony danced to
Rascal Flatts’ ‘Bless the Broken Road’ - a beautiful song for a beautiful couple
who’ve already been together for over seven years!

Christine’s son, Anthony, was excited to choose his own special song
to dance to with his mom.  There wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

Thank you, Christine & Tony, for allowing us to be a part of such a special day in your lives!
 We are truly honored!

Margot & Michael's Hudson Valley Wedding at Vassar Chapel

We arrived at Margot & Michael’s home to find our bride slipping into her gown,

assisted by her ever helpful and, I must say, hysterically funny bridesmaids.

Check out the cute pink personalized flasks!!

Vassar College Chapel is so beautiful, we could photograph here all day!

What a special place to be married.

Lilies and candles were perfectly arranged at the end of each pew,

and really finished off the look of the chapel.

We worked our way through the property, capturing some really beautiful photos of

Margo, Mike and their closest friends,

before making the short trip to Christo’s for a fantastic reception!

A few photos by the fountain before the party begins!

Matt from Jet Set Entertainment had everyone on their feet

– literally – all night long!!

The dance floor wasn’t empty for even a moment!!

Something sweet to finish the night for this super sweet couple… a little cake in the face!!

Margo and Mike didn’t hesitate to have a little playful fun after an incredible day.

Congratulations, Margot and Michael!

Felicia & David's Spectacular Grandview Wedding

April has been an awesome wedding month for us at Majestic Studios,

and Felicia & David’s spectacular spring time wedding celebration was no exception!

Felicia and her ladies chose one of the beautiful suites at the

Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel to get ready for the big day.

We caught some awesome bride prep shots before heading down to

St. Mary’s church for the ceremony.

St. Mary’s looked absolutely amazing!

It was clear that Felicia and David put much thought and care

in choosing the décor. From the personalized aisle runner, to flowers

and rose petals everywhere, the church was literally picture perfect!

Shawn & Donovan from ‘A Special Occasion’ limousine

gave our bride and groom the red carpet treatment

with a quick champagne toast before taking off to

Locust Grove for some fun bridal party photos.

Locust Grove worked out perfectly for our formal portrait session.

The sun was just right, (as a photographer, the sun can be our best friend or our worst enemy!!)

and created a nice warm glow.

On to the Grandview, for a truly grand cocktail hour…

except Felicia and David opted for a 90 minute cocktail.

This is a great option for some couples, as it allows for

plenty of time to capture all the photos they desire

and still leave enough time to enjoy the cocktail with their friends and family.

The ballroom was quite a site!! Red up lighting by Steve at Hourglass Lighting

really set the ambiance of the room. Beautiful flowers and intricate candelabra centerpieces,

courtesy of Ranita Productions added a true touch of elegance.

Introductions were made, the first dance danced, our couple toasted

with kind words from their closest friends… then the party REALLY started!!!

Jumping rope at a wedding?? A first for me!!!

Needless to say, everyone had a fantastic time, us included!!!

Much thanks to Felicia and David for allowing us

to be a part of their day!  Hopefully the volcanic ash Iceland has bestowed

upon us is extending your European honeymoon!!!

A video of your wedding will allow family and friends to relive memories for generations to come. The people who

mean so much to you, the voices, music, energy and emotions come alive again on DVD.

Check out our video demo below to get an idea of what we can capture on video for you!

(oh, by the way, YouTube compresses our videos… so if the quality seems a tad off, don’t fear..  it’s YouTube’s fault! )
