White cherry blossoms surrounded the outside of St Denis Church, adding a little something extra special to the formal session photos.

Jaclyn & Evan - Anthony's Pier 9

We’ve been super busy preparing for the upcoming wedding season, but found a few minutes to take a peek back on some of the incredible weddings we photographed in 2009. We had a total blast with these guys!!

It was a hot, humid July morning when we arrived at Jaci’s, ready to photograph her and her girls getting ready. Only moments after the champagne cork popped did the sky opened up… and. it. Poured. NOT COOL, as an outdoor ceremony at nearby cornwall landing was the plan. “ No worries” said a smiling Jaci, as she toasted with her friends. Gotta love a bride who refuses to let anything get her down!!

As it turned out, the sky cleared just in time for the ceremony. I had a minute to chat with Evan as I helped him out with his boutonniere, and was met with the same fun, laid- back attitude his soon to be wife holds. We had a few minutes to get some cool shots of him hangin’ with his guys before the ceremony began...

The ceremony was perfect; touching and emotional, with a touch of rock star flair. Jaci and Evan’s children were perfectly adorable as flower girl and ring bearer.

A few shots on the pier, and we were off to Anthony’s Pier 9 to party!

Anthony’s Pier 9 always does a great job, so we weren’t surprised to see the reception room beautifully decorated and in perfect order. Andrew from Enriquez Entertainement introduced our bridal party to the room and from that moment on, kept the party going all night!! Everyone had an awesome time (Including US!!!)
